International Cooperation
Since its establishment, VINASA Leaders’ Board has determined
its role in being not only a representative organization of IT enterprises in
Vietnam but also the representative of Vietnamese enterprises in IT-related
organizations in the world. Therefore, in its early steps of operation, VINASA
joined ASOCIO – Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization, which includes
IT associations, primarily the Software industry in Asia and Oceania. Founded
in 1984, ASOCIO is the bridge that provides the relationship for the IT
companies of the member countries. Currently, ASOCIO has 17 members: Japan,
Australia, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, New
Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and
Vietnam (represented by VINASA, recently joined at the end of 2001). ASOCIO
also has 5 associate members: USA, UK, Canada, France and Spain. ASOCIO has
more than 10,000 member companies. And soon after being an ASOCIO member,
VINASA was officially granted by ASOCIO the right to host the ASOCIO General
Conference Hanoi 2003 - a major international event in the Asian-Oceania region
of the Software and Information Technology industry.
On October 25th, 2002, at the World Information Technology
and Services Alliance (WITSA) in Paris, WITSA adopted the Association of
Entrepreneurs Vietnam Software (VINASA), later being Vietnam Software and IT
Service Association. WITSA is an organization that connects IT and Software
associations around the world. Established in 1978, WITSA currently has 49
members, accounting for about 90% of the global Information Technology market.
In December 2016, VINASA official become a member of APICTA -Asia Pacific ICT Alliance, is an alliance of national
ICT organisations representing their respective economy to build and enhance a
mutually cooperative network to promote ICT, enhance technology innovations,
capability and adoption, and encourage the development of indigenous ICT
solutions for the global market.
In parallel to being a
member of ICT World organization, VINASA has also a close relationship with

PIKOM is the National ICT Association of Malaysia is the
Association representing the information and communications technology (ICT)
Industry in Malaysia. Its membership

Malaysia.
Australia
The
Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) is
Australia’s peak representative body and advocacy group for the ICT industry
and the wider technology sector. We are a not-for-profit organisation and we
